Student Research Positions

BioVectra Inc. has summer research positions available for the period between May and August 2010. ALL CANDIDATES MUST BE ELIGIBLE FOR NSERC SUPPORT TO BE CONSIDERED.

BioVectra Inc. is a leading bio-science business in Prince Edward Island, focused on contract manufacturing and product development of active pharmaceutical ingredients, pharmaceutical intermediates, and bioreagents.

Student Chemist, Pharma
The position will involve assisting in process optimizations and laboratory scale-up activities. Courses and laboratory work in organic chemistry would be an asset.

Student Analytical Chemist
The position will involve the preparation and analysis of samples utilizing UPLC, HPLC, GC, NMR, UV-vis and IR. Courses and laboratory work in analytical chemistry would be considered an asset.

Student Chemist, Bioproducts
The position will involve carrying out chemical reactions by follwing procedures, optimizing reactions under supervision, and developing or assisting in developent of new processes and production methods for PEGylation reagents. Courses and laboratory work in organic chemistry or biochemistry would be an asset.
