BioVectra Inc. has immediate opening for a Fermentation Technician. This is a permanent, full time position. Rotating shifts will be required.

The Fermentation Technician will be responsible for operating electronic, pneumatic or computerized equipment to monitor and optimize process quality, and efficiency; controlling a process from start-up to shutdown, isolating and preparing process units for production; actively participating in BioVectra’s quality systems, focusing on the cGMP aspects, batch production batch records and operator training program; and participating in the safety program, and performing safety audits.

Successful candidate for this position should have a Biotechnology diploma or a B.Sc. degree in biochemistry or related industry experience in the fields of fermentation or microbiology.
