Diagnostic Chemicals Limited (DCL) is incorporated by Dr. J. Regis Duffy, Dean of the Faculty of Science, University of Prince Edward Island
1976
DCL opens its first manufacturing facility in the West Royalty Business Park, Charlottetown, PE
1982
DCL opens its second facility in Charlottetown and extracts its first high purity enzymes
1983
DCL (USA) is founded and is incorporated in Oxford, Connecticut
1991
DCL adds its third and largest production/R&D facility, The Douglas J. Hennessy Biochemical Centre, to the West Royalty Business Park (28,000 square feet)
1991
DCL is first selected as one of Canada's Top 100 Employers by Mediacorp Canada Inc.

DCL is awarded the "Canadian Award for Business Excellence"
